Hokay, This mission tells me to go to the Wizard's tower, which is south of the black curtain. Well I know where south is, but what the hell is black curtain? I'm at a complete loss of where to go.

The Black Curtain is an area a good distance west from Bergen Hot Springs. Once you're there, you'll need to go south into Kessex Peak. Watch out in the Black Curtain, it is not as pleasent a place as its name makes it sound.
